Role overview

ShopUp works with a mission of enabling SMEs in Bangladesh with technology. We help online sellers & neighborhood retailers to build, manage and grow their businesses by providing easy access to B2B sourcing, last-mile logistics, digital credit, and business management solutions.

The Brand Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of brand initiatives across multiple business units. The role focuses on building strong brand positioning, designing monthly campaign plans, and ensuring all communications align with the overall brand direction. It requires close collaboration with cross-functional and cross-border teams, as well as managing creative operations to deliver high-quality and impactful outputs. Strategic thinking, structured framework development, and the ability to translate briefs into actionable plans are key to success.

Job description

  • Develop BU-wise brand strategies that align with organizational goals and strengthen overall brand positioning.
  • Conduct research on competitor brand strategies, market dynamics, and emerging consumer trends to inform decision-making.
  • Create monthly campaign plans and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across all communication channels.
  • Drive content calendar formulation for all brands within the ShopUp ecosystem and oversee end-to-end execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-border teams to ensure seamless creative development and campaign rollout.
  • Manage the operational workflow of the creative team to maintain efficiency and standard of output.
  • Interpret briefs, build structured frameworks, and translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable deliverables.

Qualification and experience

Professional Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in brand management, marketing communications, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing brand strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media, content planning, and digital-first brand building.
  • Experience collaborating with creative, commercial, and cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
