The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the complete rice milling operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of rice processing, and the ability to manage teams, production schedules, and maintenance operations.
🔧 Oversee Operations
Oversee daily operations of the rice mill/factory ensuring smooth production.
👥 Team Supervision
Supervise and coordinate activities of staff and workers in all departments.
🛠️ Machinery Maintenance
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
📊 Production & Quality Monitoring
Monitor production targets, quality control, and inventory levels.
🌾 Rice Processing
Ensure proper drying, milling, polishing, packaging, and storage of rice.
⚠️ Safety & Compliance
Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
🚚 Procurement & Logistics
Handle procurement of raw paddy and manage logistics and supply chain.
📝 Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, manpower, and inventory.
🔍 Process Improvement
Identify areas of improvement and implement process optimization techniques.
💼 Training & Motivation
Train, motivate, and evaluate workers to improve performance and productivity.
📣 Management Coordination
Liaise with upper management and provide regular updates on operations.
📘 Bachelor’s Degree
A Bachelor's degree in any relevant field is required.
⏳ 5+ Years’ Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role in a rice mill or agro-processing factory.
🏗️ Technical Knowledge
Sound knowledge of rice milling operations, machinery, and quality control processes.
