Role overview

The HR Operations & Governance Expert will oversee key HR operations, governance, compliance, and HRIS activities across the company. The role will ensure accurate employee documentation and data, smooth contract and settlement processes, regular HR audits, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role will also analyze employee and organizational data, identify improvement areas, and drive actions to strengthen HR processes and employee experience.

Job description

  • Manage employee onboarding documentation and ensure completeness and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate employee contract preparation, amendments, and other contract-related activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure accurate and timely employee settlements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation across relevant HR systems.
  • Conduct regular HR process audits, identify compliance gaps, and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Ensure HR processes are aligned with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
  • Administer organizational health and employee surveys, analyze findings, and share key insights with management.
  • Develop action plans based on audit and survey findings and monitor progress.
  • Maintain and regularly update HRIS employee data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare HR reports and support management with relevant data and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvement, standardization, and automation.
  • Support HR projects, policy implementation, and other governance initiatives as required.

Qualification and experience

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, HR Compliance, or related areas.
  • Good understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Experience in HRIS and employee data management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputed university.
