Role overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Finance Specialist to support our business operations with strong financial planning, analysis, and cost control. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the operations, procurement, and senior management teams to drive financial efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Job description

Data Collection & Validation:

  • Collect financial data from business and other teams
  • Validate information related to Sales, COGS, Damages, Non-claimable items, Incentives, VAT, AIT, etc.
  • Review and validate financial entries in NetSuite
  • Post journal entries and ensure proper approval in the system
  • Manage external audits and prepare audited Financial Statements as per IFRS
  • Prepare MIS reports: Weekly, Monthly, Yearly flash reports, and actuals by Subsidiary, Category, BU, and Entity
  • Perform entity-wise ICRRS and trend/variance analysis
  • Reconcile DMS vs. NetSuite data
  • Match MIS vs. Audit FS (as per IFRS)
  • Handle intercompany balance reconciliation and input/output VAT reconciliation
  • Monitor and analyze operational costs and variances across departments
  • Prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
  • Support budgeting, planning, and financial strategy development
  • Assist in implementing cost-control initiatives
  • Collaborate with procurement and factory teams to ensure financial accuracy across the supply chain
  • Perform inventory and production cost analysis
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations
  • Assist in audits and ensure the accuracy of operational finance records
  • Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Others: Provide ad-hoc support and analysis as required by management

Qualification and experience

Educational Requirements:

  • CA (Chartered Accountant), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), or equivalent qualification highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Additional information

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations finance, cost accounting, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial ERP systems.
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
