The Quality Checker Officer is responsible for ensuring that all rice products meet the company’s quality standards throughout the production process. This role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production stages, conducting quality tests, and maintaining records to ensure consistent quality and food safety.
🧪 Quality Inspection:
Inspect raw paddy, milled rice, and finished goods for quality compliance.
Perform regular sampling and lab testing to ensure grain size, moisture, polish, and purity standards are met.
Reject or report batches that do not meet the company’s or regulatory standards.
⚙️ Production Process Monitoring:
Monitor the production line to ensure proper drying, milling, polishing, grading, and packaging.
Report any deviations or faults in the process to the production manager.
Assist in implementing quality control checkpoints throughout the production cycle.
📋 Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inspection results, test data, and product status.
Prepare daily and weekly quality reports for factory management.
🤝 Coordination:
Work closely with production staff and machine operators to maintain consistent quality.
Communicate with the maintenance team if equipment affects product quality.
📈 Continuous Improvement:
Suggest process improvements to reduce product rejection and enhance efficiency.
Assist in internal audits and prepare for external inspections if required.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience Requirements:
🧰 Experience Requirements:2+ years of experience in a quality control or inspection role in a rice mill or food processing factory.
💡 Skills & Competencies:
Good knowledge of rice varieties and processing stages.
Detail-oriented with strong observation and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Word for reporting).Ability to work in a factory environment with a hands-on attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
